For the past year, DCI has been working with Ithaca area schools and community programs to help them integrate human rights education into their curricula and programs.

So far we’ve trained over 250 people from 13 schools and several community programs.

The main resources we have been using are the This Is My Home (TIMH) toolkit from the Human Rights Center at the University of Minnesota Law School and the principles from the Citizenship Education Program.
